About Write Label

Write Label is a cost-effective, on-demand creative service providing audio ad script copy and production
through a sophisticated, easy-to-use technology platform. Broadcast sales teams complete a simple
creative brief and receive multiple audio or OTT ad scripts within 24 hours, which they use to win new
business and energize current clients. Using our service, our clients’ account executives save on average
over 90 minutes a week writing copy and have increased close rates by 30% and average deal sizes by
40%. In 2023, we will launch an end-to-end full production service of audio ads.
Write Label is seeking a motivated seller to join our growing broadcast sales team. The ideal candidate
has 5+ years of experience as a seller in the broadcast industry. It is a plus if you have experience selling
for a broadcaster and for a vendor serving broadcasters. This is a good fit for an entrepreneurial sales
professional with a hunter mentality – someone who is as happy identifying prospects and doing demo
calls as they are making the pitch as closing deals. Write Label’s goal is to capture the broadcast space,
starting with audio – this is where you will focus first.

Remote. Open to applicants in all US geographies. Our office hours follow US EST. Some US
domestic travel is expected in this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Own broadcast sales within a designated region of the US
  • Execute on a tight sales process from prospecting to deal close to hit quotas
  • Aggressively research, identify, qualify & target potential clients
  • Successfully building alliances and influencing key decision makers (at all levels)
  • Strategic sales planning and methodologies
  • Researching and obtaining market awareness of industry and client
  • Forecast sales activity, revenue achievement and update activity/prospect status in
    weekly sales meetings and prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific sales
  • Reduce customer acquisition cost by keeping sales cycles short
  • Attend relevant industry events and evangelize for Write Label
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. Collaborate with Write
    Label’s marketing team to design and update collaterals
  • Work with Write Label’s customer success team to ensure strong hand-off from sales to
    onboarding, and to engage in renewals
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or
    feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff

What You’ll Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area of interest preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years’ experience selling to or within the electronic media industry, both up-and-down in
    client organizations – ideally within audio broadcast and vendors to the industry, with a track
    record of strong performance in a field role exceeding quotas
  • Passionate understanding of the value that good copy provides in enhancing the advertising
  • Hunter mentality with proven experience in effectively building a regional territory, highly driven
    and self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal, presentation and communication skills; virtual
    demos and in person
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Creative & strategic problem solver who can react quickly and multi-task, as well as evaluate
    opportunities based on alignment with company goals
  • Start-up mentality; we are a growth-stage company

Hours & Compensation

Full-time. Compensation package including salary (uncapped commission + base/draw against
commission), equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, and life

Base salary rate $55-65,000/year.
